Call for Third-Party Comment
On March 8-10, Brigham Young University–Hawaii will host an accreditation visit by the Association for Advancing Quality in Educator Preparation (AAQEP). In preparation for the visit, the AAQEP Quality Review Team is soliciting public comment about the quality of educator preparation provided by Brigham Young University - Hawaii. Brigham Young University–Hawaii is a member in good standing of The Association for Advancing Quality in Educator Preparation (AAQEP). The programs listed below have been awarded full accreditation by AAQEP through June 30, 2027. Full accreditation acknowledges that a program prepares effective educators who continue to grow as professionals and have demonstrated the commitment and capacity to maintain quality.
Additionally, teacher education programs are reviewed by the Hawaii Teacher Standards Board (HTSB).
